When is Stocky shutting down?

Shopify is discontinuing Stocky on 31 August 2026. The app was removed from the Shopify App Store in February 2026, and inventory transfers and min/max forecasting were switched off in July 2025.

Is there a single replacement for Stocky?

No. Stocky bundled purchase orders, stocktakes, supplier records, demand forecasting and low stock reporting. Replacements tend to cover one or two of those well. Choosing depends on which part of Stocky you actually used.

What should I export from Stocky before it closes?

Export your purchase order history, stocktake records and any supplier details you can reach through Stocky reporting before 31 August 2026. Supplier records in particular are not straightforward to export, so copy them out manually if you need to keep them.

Two honest warnings

First: check Shopify Flow before you pay anyone. If you have a small catalogue and a single location, a flow on the “inventory quantity changed” trigger with a quantity condition will email you for free. It breaks down on a fixed threshold across mixed sales rates, and it re-fires on every adjustment — but if that does not describe you, keep your money.

Second: we are new. StockPilot launched in July 2026 and does not have years of reviews behind it. What we can offer instead is a free plan large enough to test properly on a real catalogue, and a support address that reaches the person who wrote the code. If that is not enough for you right now, the apps named in the table above are established and we would rather you were well served than badly served by us.
